"There's No Place Like Home..." has been needing a home for a few years. I wrote it and created my original site (with links to local dances, etc) one night during a bout of dance home-sickness in 1996. Sometime later, after we moved to Illinois, my UK student website became non-functional. For a time, Bill Tomczak graciously hosted my essay on his excellent site. Thanks, Bill. The main reasons it's still alive, though I neglected it, are the many folks who picked it up and linked - starting with the daddy of the "dance by day of the week index" - Kiran Wagle.
